About the Founder

Shriram Owaliyekar is from Sawantwadi. His journey in this field began in March 2006, when he started learning and working in barbering in Usgao. He continued building his skills there for ten years, until March 2016.

In April 2016, he joined Neomi’s Salon, where he worked until December 2018. During this time, he gained strong experience in barbering, pedicures, and men’s grooming. Between August 2018 and November 2018, while still working at Neomi’s, Shriram also enrolled at Bina Punjani Academy as a student training in the first half of the day and working in the second half. This helped him upgrade his knowledge and grow further.

In January 2019, he officially joined Bina Punjani Hair Studio as a Junior Stylist Level. After two years of working there, he also began teaching at Bina Punjani Academy the same place where he had trained earlier. Teaching students helped him learn even more, gain confidence, and refine his skills on a deeper level.

In March 2025, Shriram decided to move toward his long-time dream and resigned to begin his own venture. In April 2025, he opened SO Hair Studio in Panjim. A space built with sincerity, passion, and years of dedication to the craft.
